Projects: Mill Valley
An existing retaining wall is capped in order to create new seating, and a small basalt fountain is added to cancel out noise from Highway 1, which sits just below the property. The gently undulating railings flanking the deck and landing are built using branches recycled from a plum tree that had to be removed in order to accommodate the new structure.
